Job Description:
As a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with patients of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. This is an onsite, full-time position in Reading, PA, and an excellent opportunity for both experienced SLPs and new Clinical Fellows (CFs) looking to gain valuable experience. You will collaborate with a team of professionals to develop personalized therapy plans to help each patient reach their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
- Provide therapy services to patients, focusing on improving communication, speech, and language skills.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Work closely with families and caregivers to support patients’ progress and provide home strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current or pending licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of speech-language disorders and therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Ability to work onsite in Reading, PA.
