Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Clay, WV. In this role, you will provide speech and language services to students in a school setting. As an SLP or SLPA, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement therapy plans that meet individual student needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations (SLP only)
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to students with communication disorders
- Document progress and maintain records in compliance with state and district requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations (SLP only)
Qualifications:
- For SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid West Virginia SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- For SLPA: Valid SLPA certification in West Virginia or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred for SLPs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with AAC devices is a plus
