Job Title: School SLP – Royalton, VT
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Royalton, VT. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills across a range of grade levels. The SLP will work with a diverse caseload, providing therapy and supporting individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students from PreK to 12th grade.
Key Details:
- Location: Royalton, VT
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Start/End Date: ASAP – June 13, 2025
- Hours per Day: 7.5 hours/day
- Days per Week: 5 days/week
- Caseload Size: Approximately 28 students
- Caseload Age/Grade: PreK-12 or PreK-8 (depending on needs)
Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure in Vermont
- CCC-SLP preferred (Clinical Fellowship Year candidates may be considered)
- Experience with K-12 caseloads and IEPs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with various speech therapy techniques and interventions
- Experience in a school setting is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students across multiple grade levels
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans based on students’ speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure effective therapy implementation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and provide regular progress reports
- Provide guidance to classroom staff and families on strategies to support student development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans
