Position Overview: As an SLP, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders. Collaborate with educators and parents to create effective therapy plans that foster communication skills and improve academic performance.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid state license or ability to obtain licensure in Rhode Island.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not mandatory.
State-Specific Requirements:
- Rhode Island Department of Health license required.
- Background check as mandated by school district policies.
