Hours: 7.5 hours per day
Caseload: 40-45 students, most likely K-5
Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Yucaipa, CA. The SLP will manage a caseload of 40-45 students, primarily in grades K-5, providing essential speech and language therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-5 students.
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions to enhance students' communication skills and academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' educational and social needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise in speech and language pathology.
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid California SLP license.
- Experience working with elementary students is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
