Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to K-12 students in a school setting. The SLP will assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, working closely with students, teachers, and parents to develop individualized treatment plans that enhance students' ability to communicate and succeed academically.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and treatment plans.
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and parents, to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions in compliance with district and state requirements.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid CT SLP license and ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP).
- Experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
