Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This position involves providing speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of students or patients, depending on your setting, helping them improve their communication and social skills. Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication therapy to students or patients.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver direct therapy sessions to improve communication skills, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care.
- Document progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate records of therapy services.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings or care planning discussions, providing input and updates.
- Assist with training staff and parents in strategies to support communication development outside of therapy sessions.
Schedule:
- Full-time, onsite position.
- Hours and schedule can be discussed to fit the needs of the team and setting.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Texas state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification (preferred).
- Experience in pediatric or adult speech therapy (depending on setting) preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and dedicated to improving the quality of life of those with communication challenges.
