Job Details:
- Position Type: Contract, Full-Time
- Location: Roscommon, MI
- Setting: K-12 School District
- Caseload: Varies by grade level (elementary through high school)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing (with potential for extension)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students requiring speech services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with state and district regulations
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Michigan SLP license
- Michigan Department of Education Certification (Teacher of Speech and Language Impaired or SLP endorsement)
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
