Part-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist – White Plains, NY
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join a school district in White Plains, NY. This part-time position will support students who are deaf or hard of hearing across K-12 settings.
Position Details
- Location: White Plains, NY
- Role: Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist
- Schedule: Three days per week (flexible)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Caseload: K-12, working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Key Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments including CELF, Rhode Island Test of Language Structure, and One-Word Picture Vocabulary Test
- Conduct informal language assessments and evaluate social-pragmatic skills
- Work with students with cochlear implants, focusing on language development
Requirements
- Must have a valid New York School SLP license (TSSH/TSSLD)
- Experience working with the deaf/hard of hearing population required
- Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) preferred
- Strong background in language development and assessment
