Part-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Waltham, MA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a part-time position with school districts in the Waltham, MA area. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to students, supporting their communication and academic success.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following state and district requirements:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possess an active Massachusetts SLP license
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
- Have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school or pediatric setting
- Meet all local and state requirements for working in a school environment
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with IEP goals
- Educating staff and families on speech and language strategies for classroom success
