Hours: 42.5 hours/week (flexible)
Dates of Assignment: 2024-2025 school year
Caseload: Grades 5-12, 43 students direct service, 9 on for consultation
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school district. As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, including speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' communication and swallowing abilities. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Experience working with school-aged children, especially elementary, preferred.
