Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Oakland, CA area. This position is an excellent opportunity for dedicated professionals committed to supporting student success.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possess an active California SLP license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB)
- Hold a California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Language, Speech, and Hearing
- Have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting
- Meet all district and state-mandated compliance requirements

Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Providing both individual and group therapy sessions
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
- Ensuring compliance with all state and district documentation and reporting standards
