Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Angola, NY
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Angola, NY area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while enjoying competitive compensation and benefits.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following state and district requirements:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Possess an active New York State Speech-Language Pathology license
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Obtain a New York State Teaching Certification (TSSLD or TSHH)
- Have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting
- Meet all local and state requirements for working in a public school environment
Applicants who do not meet the above qualifications will not be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your key duties will include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success
- Utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance student learning and communication skills
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
