Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Austin, TX
We are now interviewing SLPAs to work a contracted position at our partner school district. This is a supportive school district in Tyler, TX is that offers the opportunity to work on-site for the 2024-2025 school year.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Active Texas State License
Position Details:
- Full Time or Part-time, 20-35 hours per week
- Dates: March 2025 - June 2025
- Duties: Conduct speech, language, and hearing screening as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Implement the treatment program or IEP as designed by the supervising SLP.
- Conduct carry-over activities to transfer a student’s newly acquired communication ability to other contexts and situations.
- Represent speech pathology at the admission, review, and dismissal (ARD) Committee as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Conduct observations and prepare clinical materials
