Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language therapy plans as developed by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Conduct speech and language screenings as directed and document student progress.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on speech sound production, language development, fluency, voice, and communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and challenges.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or equivalent credentials.
- Prior experience working with students, especially in a school or clinical setting, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, parents, and school staff.
