Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language services to elementary students (K-5) with diverse needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Special Requirements:
- Must hold a current Mississippi SLP license.
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
