School SLPA Contract Position - Full Time

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time role with school districts in the Granite Falls, WA area. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals who are passionate about helping students develop their communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in implementing therapy plans and interventions.
- Provide direct support to students in individual and group settings.
- Monitor and document student progress during therapy sessions.
- Prepare materials and activities for speech and language sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for students.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or a related field.
- Current state SLPA certification or eligibility for certification.
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow therapy protocols.
