Job Title: Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview:
- Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours.
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: End of the current school year, with potential for renewal.
- Location: Onsite at a school in Detroit, MI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ speech and language abilities to identify areas of need.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address communication challenges.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to student goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and update therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for speech and language goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Michigan SLP license (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children (preferred).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and meet deadlines effectively.
