School SLP Contract Position - Full Time
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologists for a rewarding, full-time role within school districts in the Pasadena, TX area. This is a unique opportunity to provide essential speech and language services, supporting students' academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' overall development.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations to promote each student's communication abilities.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Texas.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
