Job Title: Full-Time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Somerville, Massachusetts
Position Type: Full-Time but will consider Part-Time
Overview:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Somerville, MA. As an integral member of our educational community, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' communication skills and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement strategies that support students' speech and language development.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Massachusetts state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
