School In Lincoln City area Needs Full Time SLPs and SLPAs!

Schools in the Lincoln, NE city area are in urgent need of passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for year-round positions. The SLPs and SLPAs will manage caseloads, supporting the evaluation and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders. The director is prepared to promptly review applications and conduct interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct or assist with comprehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patient’s unique needs (SLPs).
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP (SLPAs).
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student support.
- Supervise and provide guidance to speech therapy assistants as needed (SLPs).
- Assist the supervising SLP with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned (SLPAs).
Experience:
- Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting.
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
Education:
- SLPs: Must have a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and full accreditation (CCC) is preferred. Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
- SLPAs: Must have an associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field and must have or be eligible for SLPA licensure in Nebraska.
