Are you a talented and passionate Speech Language Pathologist in Alabama looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and individuals under 1099 contracts? We are currently seeking a Tele-SLP for a dynamic role in schools and working with individuals under 1099 contracts. This is a remote position that offers flexibility and the chance to provide quality speech-language services to students and individuals in need, all from the comfort of your own home.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students and individuals under 1099 contracts.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide teletherapy services using video conferencing software and digital tools.
- Deliver engaging and effective speech and language therapy sessions remotely.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for students and individuals.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and session notes.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Alabama licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and access to appropriate technology for teletherapy services.
