Are you a talented and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SLP to join our team on a 1099 contract basis.
Position: School-Based Virtual Speech Language Pathologist
Contract Type: 1099 Contract
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
As a School-Based Virtual SLP, you will:
- Provide virtual speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language needs, fostering improved communication skills and overall progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other relevant professionals to ensure coordinated and effective communication strategies both in and outside the virtual classroom.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, session notes, and other necessary records.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and conferences, contributing valuable insights regarding students' speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Oregon licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is preferred.
- Organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and scheduling efficiently.
