About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Pacifica, CA. This full-time position will support a virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and work primarily with a preschool caseload. The ideal candidate will have the necessary qualifications and a commitment to enhancing the communication skills of young learners.
Requirements:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in implementing therapy plans for preschool students.
- Provide direct support to students in various settings, promoting communication development.
- Collaborate with the SLP to monitor and document student progress.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs).
