About the Role: We are seeking a motivated SLPA to join our team and work with a caseload of 45 students. This position focuses on speech improvements, and staff members can support AAC and nonverbal students. As an SLPA, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their communication goals and enhance their learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with the SLP to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Track and document student progress.
- Work effectively with school staff and families to support student needs.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
- Passion for helping students succeed and improve their communication skills.
