Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in New Orleans, LA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, supporting PreK-6th grade students with a variety of disabilities. The role will be split between two schools with a caseload of 40 IEP students and 10-15 students for intervention.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 23rd
Hours per Week: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Caseload: 40 students (IEP), 10-15 students (intervention)
Grade Level: PreK-6th
Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with disabilities (mild, moderate, severe)
- Assist in therapy sessions and implement speech/language interventions
- Maintain student progress records and communicate with the supervising SLP
