Job Description: School-Based SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant)

School Year: 2025-2026
Caseload: K-12 students
Location: North of Boston, Massachusetts
BlazerJobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the upcoming school year. This full-time position involves supporting students in grades K-12 with their communication needs under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Responsibilities:
- Assist the supervising SLP in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language challenges.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication goals.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program.
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
