Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a school-based setting near Caldwell, ID. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in implementing therapy plans and interventions.
- Provide direct support to students in individual or small group settings.
- Conduct speech screenings under the direction of the SLP.
- Document student progress and help track treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with the school team to ensure students’ needs are met effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- State certification as an SLPA (if applicable).
- Previous experience working with children in a school or therapy setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
