We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in Merrillville, IN. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide therapy services to students.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Document therapy sessions and report progress to the SLP.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
- Valid Indiana SLPA license.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
