We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a school district in Joliet, IL. This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help students reach their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services as prescribed by the supervising SLP.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Document therapy sessions and track student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student needs.
- Follow district and state guidelines for therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Illinois SLPA license.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
