Description: Soliant is currently seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to clients across various age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the speech-language pathologist in conducting assessments and screenings.
- Implement therapy plans and activities designed by the supervising SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients individually or in groups.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and session notes.
- Collaborate with other members of the therapy team to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy goals and progress.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and techniques in speech-language therapy.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
- Valid state license or certification as an SLPA.
- Previous experience working in a clinical or educational setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion for helping individuals improve their communication skills.
