We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a school district in Elgin, TX. This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed SLP to help students improve their communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication goals.
- Adhere to all school and state regulations for therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Texas SLPA license.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
