Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Position – School-Based Role Near Wild Peach, TX
Soliant Health is working with a school district near Wild Peach, TX, to fill a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opening. This position involves supporting a diverse elementary grade caseload. The district provides direct supervision for SLPAs, and the assignment runs from the start date through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across the elementary grade under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Assist in implementing therapy plans tailored to meet students’ IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to address students’ communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Support the supervising SLP in administrative and therapy-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Current SLPA licensure or certification in Texas.
- Experience in a school-based setting or with PreK-12 students is preferred.
- Experience with AAC devices needed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Availability to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) through the 2024-2025 school year.
