Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in White Plains, NY. The ideal candidate will work with students in grades K-12, helping them overcome speech and language challenges to achieve academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Deliver therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and voice.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families to support students' communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- New York State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
