School Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sterling Heights, Michigan
Sterling Heights, MI
Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Sterling Heights, MI. The successful candidate will work in a supportive school environment, providing therapy to students with communication disorders. You will be responsible for evaluating students, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to help students meet their academic and social communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment goals as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with pediatric populations or in school settings is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
