School Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Canterbury, CT. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive school environment. We offer flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time options for the entire school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to improve students’ communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student development.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Connecticut.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
