Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Valencia, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students by helping them achieve their communication and learning goals.
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 7, 2024
- End Date: June 9, 2025
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: PreK or Elementary TK-6th Grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students with speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to parents and educators.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
