Job Description:
Soliant is currently seeking a talented and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Wilson, NC. This role involves evaluating and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders, working collaboratively with educators and parents to support students' learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language difficulties.
- Provide therapy sessions addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language impairments.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ communication needs.
- Monitor and document student progress and make appropriate adjustments to therapy plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insights on accommodations and strategies for student success.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid North Carolina state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
