Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic school district in Westfield, AL. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, educators, and families to enhance communication skills and support academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing speech, language, and communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students requiring speech and language services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Alabama state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred; however, Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are welcome to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not required.
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
