We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Walworth, NY. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive school environment, providing essential speech and language services to students with diverse needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, including articulation, language comprehension, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students based on assessment results, IEP goals, and specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' academic success and social development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, therapy notes, and IEP updates.
- Participate in IEP meetings, helping to set and review communication goals and progress.
- Work with students to address speech disorders, language delays, social communication skills, and fluency issues.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current New York State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff in a collaborative environment.
