Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Tumwater, WA. As a school-based SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them achieve their educational goals and improve their communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each student.
- Provide direct therapy in individual and group settings to address speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom setting.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
- Provide training and resources to teachers and parents to support students in different environments.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Washington state SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
