Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Taylorsville, NC. As an SLP in a school-based setting, you will work closely with students to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a variety of speech and language disorders. Your goal will be to help students enhance their communication skills, improve academic performance, and achieve success in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and small group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive learning environment for students.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and evaluations.
- Offer training and support to parents and staff to enhance communication strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active North Carolina SLP License.
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for helping students succeed academically and socially through speech therapy.
