Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Stewartsville, NJ. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic services for students with speech, language, and communication disorders, supporting their academic and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct speech therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support communication goals in the classroom and home environments.
- Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal-setting and progress evaluation.
- Offer resources and guidance to parents and teachers to facilitate students' communication development outside of therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid New Jersey state SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
