Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Southgate, MI. In this school-based role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders to promote effective communication and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records of student outcomes.
- Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
