Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team in Sitka, AK. This role involves assessing and treating students with communication and speech disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with teachers and parents to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech, language, and communication skills.
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to students.
- Work closely with educators and families to enhance students' learning environments.
- Track and document progress over time.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Alaska SLP license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
