Description: We are currently accepting candidates for a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in Sherman Oaks, CA. This role is full-time for the entire school year and involves working closely with a nonverbal student population, providing vital speech and language support to enhance communication skills and quality of life.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and adapt interventions for optimal outcomes
- Employ a range of techniques to assist nonverbal students in achieving communication goals
