Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Shallotte, NC. This school-based position offers an exciting opportunity to work with students who have speech and language disorders, providing support and interventions to help them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ educational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and contribute to collaborative planning.
- Provide training and resources for staff and parents regarding speech and language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid North Carolina State SLP license.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
