Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and creative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an opportunity to make a difference? A supportive school district in Santee, CA, is seeking an experienced or entry-level SLP to join their team and help students excel in their communication skills, academic goals, and personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs.
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and social communication challenges.
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual students.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to create inclusive learning environments.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on strategies to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
