Job Description:
Are you a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a difference in the lives of students? We’re seeking an SLP to join our dedicated educational team in Santa Clarita, CA. Your expertise will help students overcome communication barriers and achieve academic success in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions to improve communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for student success.
- Stay current on best practices and innovative approaches in speech therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
