School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - San Jose, CA

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in San Jose, CA. The SLP will provide essential speech and language services in a school-based setting, working to support students' communication and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Monitor and document students' progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents on strategies to enhance students' communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure in California.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
